How to Wake Up Earlier and Get More Done in Your Coaching Business

It's absolutely no secret that I am a HUGE fan of waking up earlier and hitting the ground running - there was a period when I stopped doing this and I told myself it really didn't make a difference but reality?




This past week I've not been 100% so I've allowed myself to sleep in until 6:30 which by the way was the right call... I'm recovering so much faster because I'm well rested BUT I could feel the hit from not getting up at 4:00 a.m. and getting my morning practice in.



When I suggest to my clients that a good practice they should implement is to wake up an hour earlier which for them is usually around 5:30/ 6:00 a.m. (I'm an all in kinda gal so I took it up a notch ;) ) it seems scary and next to impossible, and they're unsure how they'll be able to function - well here are my best early morning tips for women who want the dream business, who want the life, who know they NEED transformation and sooner rather than later:


Tip 1: Go to Bed Earlier.

Sorry... (not sorry)  late night TV binges will have to be put off until the weekend if even then, when you hit the bed earlier you can still get your 6 - 8 hours if you wish.


I currently use the "bedtime" option on my iPhone and I love it - to ensure that I get the number of hours I want.


It may sound crazy saying you have a bedtime but your body will thank you later


Tip 2: Schedule several alarms.

I have my actual alarm that's calming and wakes me up gradually and then I set a few others... because we're the biggest fans of hitting that good ole snooze button


Tip 3: Have an actual routine to follow.

What will you do and in what order in the morning? Hit the ground running! If you don't have a plan, if you have no idea what you will need to get done, it will seem pointless waking up earlier... get crystal clear on what your morning practice will look like


Tip 4: DECIDE that you will see this through.

It was hard when I first got started but now it is so worth it - and I can't wait to get back into the groove of things next week. If you just "test" it out and hope for the best you won't get the best. Decide that you want more for your business and so you will DO what needs to be done to not only build your dream business but do the inner work to make that a reality.
